Much of the sculpture I produce is an attempt to make a connection between the enduring strength of stone and the spirit imbued in it through the use of the traditional craft of stone masonry. As with the ancient works that resonate on levels both visual and deeply felt I aspire to place my works in that same continuum, drawing on age old principles to create sculptural works that are both timeless and profoundly modern, alive with the spirit of tradition reimagined.
